Hola Amigos!!!! Thank you for choosing Santiago as your holiday destination. I am Myriam and I have been working in the field of tourism since 1999 (hotels, restaurants and travel agencies) but I always wanted to be a tour guide. I made my dream come true in 2007, falling in love with my country, my city, its history and its charming cute places. I also have been leading groups through Chile and Argentina. I am 100% Chilean and I have lived my entire life in Santiago, but traveled abroad and through Chile extensively. I would be honored to have the opportunity to introduce my homeland to you. I love welcoming foreigners to the country I love so much and the city where I grew up. I like to share my knowledge about history, wine, people and culture. I will show Santiago and its surrounding areas with standards tours that I offer, as well as customized tours, tailored to meet your needs, both with a view as a local would see it . Including less crowded places - off the beaten path whenever possible. Do you want to learn why are we called the British of South America? Why we have a sweet tooth? Why people of almost every Latin American country make fun of the Chilean spanish? I invite you to learn this and much more with interesting and juicy stories of Chile. I am looking forward to meeting you in Santiago and give you a most unforgettable travel experience. See you soon!!! Just two hours from Santiago has been open on february 2019 a 100 hectares (247 acres) park with trails, wetland and the largest aviary of Southamerica. I invite you to enjoy the nature, peace and the joy to live. Discovering endemic birds and trees in then Giverny Garden, a piece of the gardens of Giverny in France that Claude Monet portrayed were brought to a little gully in Parque Tricao. Every detail, every one of its colors and shapes was planned to evoke the incredible gardens in France. From the beginning, it was thought of as a place to rest and walk, where the sound of water flowing down the waterfalls and the walks along its floating bridges make Giverny a magical, special place. We will also visit the 2 hectares aviary (5 acres) with more than 52 species of birds and 800 of them from all over the word. These birds arrived at Parque Tricao to show and teach us of the incredible plumage and colors we can find in nature. Discover the native flora and the majesty of exotic birds!
- Meeting at the lobby of your accommodation -Take the highway to Santo Domingo passing through agricultural valleys. . - Arrival to Parque Tricao - Visit the nursery and greenhouse of the park - Walk through the Giverny Wetland - Visit the largest Aviary of Southamerica. - Time for Pic Nic during the day - Back to Santiago Tour available only on weekdays. Only 500 people can visit the park per day and only 80 people can visit the aviary at once per shift. So please book this tour in advance. Are you with more people?
