Colchagua Icon Wine Tour

Through a picturesque drive heading south on the Panamerican highway, we first cross the Maipo river and then the Cachapoal river, both in charge of irrigating extensive fruit and wine plantations. Our first visit is Neyen, a breathtaking scenic winery that produces some of the oldest cabernet sauvignon grapes, with over 125 years. These mature grapes are blended with Carmenere to give birth to Neyen, an elegant and sophisticated icon wine that when put in a decanter starts to open up, allowing you to explore its delicate structured and complex identity. Our second stop is nearby Lapostolle, Chile's state of the art winery, inaugurated in the late 1990's by french Alexandra Marnier Lapostolle, related to orange liquor patriarch gran Marnier. After a detailed tour, you will do a tasting in their sublime granite rock ultra modern basement cellar and includes their famous award winning icon "clos". Lunch is at Viu Manent winery, the perfect finish at Rayuela steakhouse restaurant overlooking a polo field.
