Hi, I'm Ramiro, Tour Guide born in Santiago de Chile, and my life has been deeply involved in the world of tourism. My journey began at a very young age when I spent four adventurous years with my backpack hitchhiking through South America, fueled by a passion for exploring new places and experiencing diverse cultures. My expertise spans Food & Wine tours, the exploration of our rich Patrimonial Cities and of exciting Mountain Adventures. Thank you for considering Chile as your new destination. Under a clear sky & pure air, this tour provides you the opportunity to have a warm conversation about wines with the winemaker himself, as you enjoy a tasting while being told about the wine-making process, sharing the know how with you and the way they go about it, a most enjoyable experience. Of course tasting fine wines together with some dry fruits, bread and bread sticks is hard to top, but if your appetite is up to it, we can also enjoy trying some traditional foods in a typical restaurant, to truly unveil the flavours of this gorgeous land. My wife's family are winemakers and we live in a farm at the country side. Our house is in the middle of a vineyard, literally! And every year I make our own artisan wine with no chemicals such sulfites or yeast. . . I leave it to nature, I don't have studies about enology, but I can tell you if some wine is good and natural only by tasting it , that's my experience and the reason of why I love to be guiding wine tours. Come on… dare to enjoy freely!
·After picking you up from your preferred meeting point, we'll drive, crossing by the Chilean countryside, arriving to Casablanca Valley, our first stop will be at a very special winery where one of the owners will make us have a wonderful time outside under the sky, showing us their grapes plantation and telling us all about how they take care of it, and how they developed their own style of wines. ·After the contextualization, it'll be time for the tasting of five Premium wines. ·Next, it would be a good idea to go for lunch if you like so, we may stop in a "typical restaurant", a great place to appreciate the flavours of our land before reaching the next winery. ·After lunch, we'll reach our second and last winery, where you'll tour its cellars. ·We'll then taste 3 of their best wines with cheeses, dry fruits, olives, wine balsams, olive oil and bread. ·Finally, we'll drive back.
