Aconcagua Valley Wine Tour

Aconcagua Valley is one of the few northern wine valley in Chile, located inside the Andes Mountains valley at Los Andes city, this is a very old and traditional valley since end of Nineteenth Century, Aconcagua Valley has a Mediterranean weather; with warm summers and cool breezes in the evening, giving a late ripening of the vineyards; increasing flavors, intensity and sweetness concentration in its grapes, producing excellent varieties of ; Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Noir and the rediscovered and delicious Carmenere. Two of the best wineries here are; Errazuriz Chile's most traditional and excellent winery and Von Siebenthal a new very exclusive winery, producing only one kind of wine Cabernet Sauvignon. San Esteban winery, another local good winery, might be another good option here.

- We travel North East of Santiago for almost 1 hour, getting into the Aconcagua Valley; - Here we visit Errazuriz winery : the most traditional winery in the area, where the founder was one of Chile's Presidents, Federico Errazuriz. It's a very large vineyard producing a large and very exclusive amount of delicious wines. - Then we go Von Siebenthal , where you'll enjoy an impressive flavour Cabernet Sauvignon and an excellent tour through the vineyards and french oak wine barrels - Optional here is San Esteban Vineyard , here you{ll have a tour of the winery and an excellent wine tasting. These three vineyards are the most importants at this valley. - Before driving back to Santiago, you will also enjoy a tour through this beautiful valley, with a view to the Andes Mountains and maybe a glance to America's highest mount ; Aconcagua in a very scenic landscape.
