This historic area has old Royal hunting grounds containing deer, world famous places like Hampton Court Palace, Kew Gardens, Windsor Castle* and stately homes along the River Thames. It is only 20 minutes from Central London by train and a peaceful place to visit or base yourself whilst in London. I have been granted a license to run my bike tours in Richmond Park, the largest Royal Park in London and Bushy Park which is next to Hampton Court Palace. Both of these parks have wild deer living here for us to see on a bike tour. Enjoy the beautiful river route to Hampton Court Palace the 16th Century home of the royals which you can visit after your tour if you wish. Or cycle in Windsor Great Park a 20 km2 old royal hunting ground 2 km from Windsor town. Take a taxi to the meeting location and start as this road is busy and uphill. Full day tours I offer a very British experience with a traditional afternoon tea picnic in the summer, enjoy a hot pot of tea and homemade cakes set up in fantastic locations.
