Hello Dear Traveler, Welcome to my profile! I am Ayfer, I have been a guide since 2010 and have been hosting amazing people in Istanbul from all over the world since then. I am very passionate about art, history, travel and food. I have lived in Istanbul for over a decade and when I first moved here it was to experience its diversity of culture, wonderful depth of history and energy that this beautiful city has to offer. I am a storyteller at heart and looking forward to sharing stories of some of the most fascinating people and wonderful places that give Istanbul its unique fabric. I offer experiences of history, culture, food and lifestyle as I want my guests to experience the city not just with its highlights but also feel and understand how vibrant, fun and unique it is. We loved our culinary and history tour on the Asian side of Istanbul with Ayfer. We learned so much, visited several charming neighborhoods and markets, and sampled several terrific local delicacies. Ayfer led us to truly unique merchants in the grand bazaar that we surely would have been too overwhelmed to have found ourselves. It was a nice touch that she was personally familiar with them as well. More importantly she was very friendly to us and brought a warmth to our day.

Ayfer was fantastic! Warm, personable, loves doing this, loves the area and knows the local foods inside out (and steered us to the best!) . It was a delightful 3 hours & we'd highly recommend!!!!
