Perfect orientation of the Istanbul in 3 hours!
Overview of your Istanbul tour
Looking for orientation in the city? Getting to know about their history but not entering the sites? Maybe you want to admire the monuments at your own pace later. If so, this tour is just for you! We will meet in the old city, see all the monuments from outside and I will explain their history and tell you my favorite stories about them. Then we will make a stop at a hidden gem for a Turkish tea or coffee, later on, take a tram to explore two amazing neighborhoods of Istanbul to see how locals enjoy their lives: Karakoy and Galata. As a person who loves exploring the city that I visit like a local, I will make sure this tour will give you a wonderful orientation of the city in only about 4 hours while you experience the history, culture, lifestyle, and food as well as learning how to get around in the city and where to go if you have more time in the city that you would like to enjoy on your own.
Your Istanbul tour itinerary
-We will meet and explore Ancient Roman Hippodrome, see Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace from outside while you listen to the amazing stories of each monument. How about a break after all the history to enjoy some Turkish tea or coffee? We will step in a hidden gem to relax. -Then we will take a tram to Karakoy neighborhood which was one of the most cosmopolitan neighborhoods of Ottoman Istanbul; now houses designers, art galleries, coffee shops, and great restaurants. -Then we will take the second oldest subway in the world to climb up a hill of Galata to explore this boho-chic neighborhood of the city. We will see Galata Tower, listen to its interesting story and end our experience at a local coffee shop or a restaurant. Feel free to contact me if you would like to customize this tour!
