2 Full Day Private Istanbul Tour Between 2 Continent

We spent two unforgettable days exploring Istanbul with Seyhad, and I can honestly say he was one of the best guides we have ever had. What impressed me the most is that our experience actually began months before we arrived in Turkey. I first contacted Seyhad about three months before our trip with a long list of places I wanted to visit, foods I wanted to try, and experiences I hoped to have. As our travel dates approached, he remembered ever single detail without me having to remind him. He had already organized everything, secured our reservations, and carefully planned an itinerary that perfectly reflected our interests. That level of organization, preparation and personal attention is truly exceptional. His knowledge of Istanbul, Turkish history, and culture is remarkable. He didn't simply guide us from one attraction to another, he brought every place to life. His explanations were rich with historical details, dates, stories, and fascinating facts, making every visit meaningful and memorable. He is passionate about his city. Every recommendation from restaurants, to hidden local gems was excellent. Beyond being an outstanding guide, Seyhad is a kind person. During our two days together, we naturally found ourselves talking not only about our Istanbul but also about our families and our lives. That personal connection made our experience even more special. He never rushed us, answered every question with enthusiasm, and constantly made sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. Without a doubt Seyhad was one of the highlights of our trip to Turkey. He made our visit to Istanbul far more meaningful than we ever imagined. We give Seyhad our highest recommendation. Our guide Seyhan was not only a model of the very best in tour guides but was extraordinary in so many ways. He was not only timely, knowledgeable, affable and professional, but he made sure we saw everything on our list plus enhanced our experience by recommending places on his list of places to see and things to do coveted by locals, including a stop at one of the best fish markets in the city to select three varieties of freshly caught fish to have them prepared at a restaurant overlooking the Strait, which was steps away from the market. His expertise and popularity as a guide and friend was evidence by other guides, business owners and locals greeting him enthusiastically and warmly. We could not have wished for a better two-day visit in this historically and culturally rich Asian city. It was well worth having it on our bucket list of world cities. Thank you, Seyhan.

The only way to see Istanbul in 2 days is with Seyhan. Not only is he very knowledgeable having been a guide for many years, he is very easy to understand and his command of the language is so good it was easy to make jokes with us. He structured the two days perfectly with a variety of interesting historical sights, a boat ride, a visit to a nice local section of the Asian side and even some shopping. Having been raised in Istanbul he has a love of the city and the old historical mosques that he wants you to experience. He is such a delight and we could not have had a more enjoyable couple days.

We had a great two days with Seyhan. He was very accommodating. He was able to adapt to our schedule and made things very easy. Highly recommend doing tours with him. He knows his city and shows pride in explaining the areas and customs.

First, Seyhan was very accommodating. He pushed my wife in a wheelchair, without complaint for two days. There were places we couldn't get into because of my wife's condition (surface areas) but we were shown historic places where Seyhan would explain the importance and timing going back over 3500 years. Seyhan having been a history teacher before becoming a guide adds to the benefits. Having a driver and guide saves significant time, maximizing the tour benefits, as you are dropped off near the site and picked up in another convenient location. Read a short history of Istanbul before engaging Seyhan to better ask questions and suggested stops which Seyhan will surely tie the histories together. Need two days to maximize the benefits.

Simply the best tour and guide we have ever had! He was flexible, spoke excellent English, knowledgeable in all aspects of the tour and history. Answered all questions and was helpful with guidance on what we should look for in shopping and eating. A true gentleman who made our 2 days experience most memorable.
