Hello travelers, I grew up with the idea of exploring the world. Before becoming a licensed tour guide I traveled a lot, worked in a cruise ship in the USA, walked Camino de Santiago French and Portuguese trails in Europe, visited every single museum in small towns, watched musicals, theaters, enchanted with art and history, experienced corporate business life for about 11 years, studied International Relations and astrology along with tour guiding. I met people from all around the world, some(eg Kiribati Republic) that I have never heard of before. My passion for exploring always continued with people, my inner self and now with my city. Hippodrome Square, with thousands of years old monuments, had been an area for chariot races, festivals, Ottoman ceremonies. . Hagia Sophia, believed to be a portal to other dimensions as well as a home to 3 beliefs, has been surviving for 1500 years. Blue Mosque, a royal mosque with 6 minarets, saluts Hagia Sophia from the other end. The city is surrounded with hundreds of years old Roman water storages.

Mine was a wonderful host. She shared so much history and culture that it was hard to absorb it all. We were able to tailor our time together to align with our interests. Our plan was to go into depth on many of the key sites later in our stay, so we signed up with Mine to provide an overview and orientation to Istanbul. She really knows the city and its history. Her narrative of the story of Justinian and Theodora was awesome especially since she conveyed the information while we sat on the floor of Little Aya Sofya. Our group of four would unanimously recommend Mine.
