Overview of your Istanbul tour
I am a history buff and I love all the historical highlights in Istanbul as they give you an amazing perspective of the city. This tour with me is wonderful to learn a lot about Istanbul: its history, culture and lifestyle. Contact me if you need to customize this tour! IMPORTANT NOTE: We will skip the lines at the museums only. There is no priority for anyone to skip the lines at mosques (Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia). If there are lines to enter the mosques, we will need to wait in the lines.
Your Istanbul tour itinerary
-We will meet at your hotel or at a meeting point and start exploring this wonderful city. -We will start with the treasures of the Ottoman Empire. First, we will visit the Blue Mosque (closed till 3 pm on Fridays), known for its beautiful blue tiles. -Then we will start admiring the marvels from Byzantine times, Ancient Roman Hippodrome, and the marvelous gem: Hagia Sophia, one of the oldest and glorious monuments in the world. (closed till 3:00 pm on Fridays) -We will stop at a local restaurant to taste some of the best examples of Turkish cuisine. We will continue with Basilica Cistern. -We will finish our day with a visit to Grand Bazaar where you will be amazed by the colors, beautiful authentic arts & designs, and warmth of people.
