Highlights of Istanbul

Such a lovely and informative guide. My wife and I spent an amazing day last week hitting the highlights of Istanbul. Despite some rain, it was a seamless 8 hour day where we hit everything from the Blue Mosque to the Turkish ice cream stand. Recommend the early start to avoid the crowds. Day flowed like running water as we got the best of sights, shopping, and food.

We had a wonderful day together! We learned so much more than if we had seen the sites on our own, and it was easier too! From our first communication Cicek was friendly and organized, and we highly recommend her!

Let's be honest....the sites are the same, the history is the same....it's the guide that makes the day special. Of course, Cicek was knowledgeable, and the rest, but it was the chats between the sites, as we got to know her, and then, after picking the incredible Shyra restaurant for a late lunch, the joy and pleasure of us getting to know each other at a real and human level, as we talked about our families, our cultures, the personal stories we both shared that made this a real highlight of our brief time in Istanbul.

She was lovely and helped us see the highlights on the city on a short schedule. She also took us to a fantastic restaurant frequented by locals … delicious. We highly recommend her!

Our tour with Cicek was one of the highlights of our time in Istanbul. She guided us through some of the city's most iconic sites, including the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Hippodrome, Basilica Cistern, and Grand Bazaar, and I truly enjoyed every moment of her company. What stood out most was how engaging she was throughout the day. I was traveling with my children, and Cicek did an amazing job explaining the history and significance of each site in a way that kept them interested and involved. I mentioned that I wanted my kids to experience Istanbul's public transportation system, she happily arranged for us to ride the metro. Along the way, she explained how the system worked and shared insights about daily life in Istanbul, which gave us a more authentic experience of the city. Of all the tours we took in Turkey, this was the one where I learned the most. At both the Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque, I found myself constantly asking questions, and Cicek patiently answered every one of them. Thank you, Cicek, for sharing your knowledge, your culture, and your beautiful city with our family. We learned so much from you and truly appreciated spending the day together!

Our tour was absolutely amazing!!!! Cicek was fantastic, she is very knowledgeable and knows her stuff. We thoroughly enjoyed our day and had lots of fun. A walking tour is the perfect way to discover Istanbul. We would highly recommend Cicek and this tour it was a great Istanbul city experience.
