Walking in Istanbul old city - Full-day tour in Istanbul

We did our tour with Sergun on one of our first days in Istanbul, and it was the perfect way to get introduced to the city. He was so knowledgeable and kind, and totally willing to answer all our questions! It was a hot day, and he was able to help us avoid the worst of the heat and crowds so we could truly enjoy the experience. We loved learning about the city and its history, and really appreciated his willingness to also provide some wonderful recommendations for restaurants, neighborhoods to explore, and other things to see in the city! We would take a tour with Sergun again without hesitation.

Sergun is a very friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating guide. We had a great day in Istanbul and the rooftop lunch was relaxing with beautiful views of the sea and city; and the best calamari! The trams were convenient. Only wish I had known that I needed to bring more cash to purchase skip the line tickets- I didn’t plan for that. Thank you for a great introduction to beautiful Istanbul!

Sergun was a phenomenal tour guide for our one day stay in Istanbul. He picked us up at our hotel and showed us all the main attractions. He was very knowledgeable about about all the exhibits and spoke excellent English. He was great about answering all my questions about Turkey’s government and school system and customs. The rooftop restaurant he took us to for lunch was delicious, and he also recommended a good place for dinner and authentic Turkish desserts for that evening. Finally, he gave us very specific instructions for which train to take/where to get off to get to our cruise terminal the following morning. I highly recommend Sergun for touring Istanbul.

We were a group of 4 (2 couples from FL) that booked a 2 day tour with Sergün. He was extremely knowledgeable and really knew the ins and outs of Istanbul. He was very accommodating and flexible as well as a super nice guy and very easy to understand. I would not hesitate to recommend him.
