Hanifi was excellent! From the transportation to the information about everything we saw, Hanifi made it all very easy and entertaining. We had a great tour with our guide Hanifi He allowed us to go at our pace and was exceptionally informative On the History of the tour we did and explained the broader history and events that brought about the Istanbul of today. He brought the History and events to life for us ,which is great when you tour these ancient sites To stand in the once great City of Constantinople and see and understand it's story was superb
We had an absolutely marvelous walking tour of Old Town Istanbul with Hanifi visiting the Topkapi Palace and museums, Hagia Sophia Mosque, Basilica Cistern and Grand Bazaar. Plus a lunch break at a Michelin recommended restaurant. The hours flew by as his knowledge of history, commentary and the sights made for “living history”. A truly wonderful day made even better by our engaging host. THANK YOU!!!
beyond perfect
Our guide Hanifi Y took us under his wing and provided the perfect first day-first time in Istanbul tour. He helped us tick off three of the must-see iconic attractions Hagia Sophia, Roman Cistern, Topkapi Palace on our first day in Istanbul. He instinctively picked up on the pace and vibe we needed to get the most out of our tour. Hanifi was kind and patient as we barraged him with questions about the historic locations we were walking through, the city, the culture and what we should do next. I felt like Hanifi was my cousin who was taking care of us "his silly family" who is visiting his beloved city of Istanbul for the first time. I loved that when it was time to eat he steered us to a restaurant (Deraliye) that he so obviously enjoys himself. This is the second time we used tours by local and both of the tours we booked were 5 + star, I will keep using them wherever we travel.

GRAND BAZAAR End the day by exploring over 4,000 shops in this historical and lively market, perfect for finding traditional goods and souvenirs.
