I have a degree in History and Archaeology because they are my passions and in fact, I work also as an archaeologist. My other passion is travelling and from my own experience, what I really enjoy are unique experiences that make you feel as a local and provides you a dip in the place that you are visiting. We've traveled a lot internationally and we've been with numerous local guides in groups both large and small. To me, the difference between a good guide and a great guide is in how "personal" they make the experience, and this becomes more important for smaller groups. Marta told us plenty about the city and its history, but she also engaged us in other conversation...
