Toledo is located only 70 km / 43 miles south of Madrid. By train it takes only 35 minutes to arrive from the capital so it's perfect for a daytrip out of town. The city was the old capital of Spain untill 1561, when Madrid became the capital. Toledo is World Heritage by UNESCO since 1985 due to its extremly well preserved monuments and old section, fully walled. The city is also known as the city of the Three Cultures because during Middle Ages Muslims, Jewish and Cristians lived together there. Visiting Toledo is a journey into the past where you'll discover a city where time stopped in the 16th century. The city has outstanding monuments like the Alcazar or the Cathedral, The Jewish Quarter, exceptionally well preserved with its two visitable synagogues or The Muslim section, with one of the few mosques built in the 10th century still standing. A walk in Toledo is a must if you're visiting the central part of Spain and the city never ceases to amaze.

- I'll meet you at Atocha train station at 8:50 - Once in the train station we'll take the 9:15 train to Toledo (35') - We'll take a taxi from the railway station to the city and we'll stop at a viewpoint to enjoy a panoramic view of the city - Walking tour in Toledo. During our walk we will go across the city discovering its beautiful spots and visiting the highlights: Santa María La Blanca Synagogue in the Jewish Quarter, The Gothic Cathedral, The Alcazar, etc.. . This monuments are just a suggestion, if you have any other preferences or likes I'm flexible, this is a custom made tour for you. - During our walk we will have time for a break for lunch, snacks, drinks and shopping. - Return to Madrid in the 16:25 train and end of the tour at Atocha train station.
