My husband and I did two tours with Jaime, the Prado tour and the Half day city tour. He was awesome at the Prado and we would not have learned as much or seen so many significant works without him. He is really an expert. Even if we asked about more random pieces he had something to say. He also worked hard to especially show us pieces we were interested in. The city tour was so enjoyable as we experienced both major sights and secret little known places we would never have found. We totally enjoyed our time and even had a great tapas meal with plenty of time to just talk and exchange ideas with a local. Jaime was prepared, informative, adaptable and fun. Everything you want in a terrific guide. Will recommend him to others.

His “secrets” in the Prada made our tour both fascinating and memorable, and his warm personality made our walk around town magnificent. Add-in a wonderful non-touristy lunch of delicious tapas and the day was just perfect!

Jaime was one of the best guides we have ever had! Our stroll in the old town was a great introduction the the history of Madrid, with many beautiful sights along the way. We felt the commentary was just at the right level -- enough to appreciate what we were seeing but not so detailed that we lost focus. Jamie is a great storyteller and this brought the history to life. We stopped for a great afternoon snack at a local Tapas restaurant. We let Jaime order for us and everything was delicious! Fresh local flavors and not a touristy experience at all. His English is excellent and we had no difficulty understanding each other. He is very knowledgeable about art, architecture, history and how they all blend together. We were a bit jet-lagged so did not quite use the whole 6 hours, but we accomplished everything we intended to do. I highly recommend this tour.

We had a wonderful experience with Jaime Sanchez’s Walking Tour in Madrid. Jaime is a great guy, knowledgeable, personable, and a pleasure to spend time with. We took the tour our first day in Madrid. The tour is a great overview of the city sites. Jaime’ s choices were very comprehensive and his knowledge of the cities history, architecture, arts and culture are unequaled. The tour provided us with all the essential information we needed to plan and realize our stay in Madrid. We would highly recommend Jaime.
