I am a nationally licensed Government-Certified Tour Guide in Japan, and in 2025 alone, I have led more than 250 tours in and around Tokyo. Travel has always been my passion. I have explored 35 countries and traveled extensively throughout Japan, which has given me a deep appreciation for cultural differences and meaningful local experiences. Before becoming a full-time guide, I worked at an international hotel, where I developed strong hospitality skills while welcoming guests from all over the world. Since becoming a private guide in 2024, I have conducted over 210 tours in my first year. My goal is simple: to create immersive, personalized experiences that help you truly connect with Japan — not just see it. I am also certified as a Tokyo City Guide and have received over 200 five-star reviews from guests. Our tour of Yanaka with Hiro was fantastic. He showed us places we wouldn't have found on our own and explained the history of the shops. It was great to have someone who knew the area, could explain the history and answer all the questions we had.

Hiroaki is so personable and kind. He made the tour find and informative. It was my first night in Japan. Hiroaki shared many customs and traditions with me to help me learn and land into Japan. He taught me how to properly approach a Shinto shrine. Asakusa, itself, is a wonderful area to explore. Have cash so you can buy some goodies.

Hiroaki was the best! We did this tour on our first day in Japan and it really set us up to understand and appreciate temples, shrines and Japanese history. Hiroaki was the perfect guide -- he has a ton of knowledge about Japan, his love for Asakusa shows, and he knows how to navigate it without being overwhelmed by the crowd. Highly recommend!

Hiroakl M , He guided me on an outstanding tour of Tokyo. The tour followed my requests to the letter. I do not walk very well and he took good care of me. I asked to see Tokyo from the eyes of someone who lived there and not from a list of top sites listed in a guide book. I did two tours with him . Each was in a different area and excellent. I would recommend him...
