The city was real "love at first sight" and I never left it again! I've been living on 'Rive Gauche' (Seine river Left Bank), just next to the Luxembourg Gardens, for the past 25 years and I would never consider moving anywhere else.
After a career as a financial analyst for large international companies, I resumed my studies in History of Art in the Paris' famous Ecole du Louvre. This course, added to my passion for Paris inspired me to become a private guide.
Whether it's your first time in Paris or you already know the city, I will take you off the beaten tracks and unveil the secrets of Paris' major landmarks. Together, we'll walk the streets of Paris just like a group of friends. Each tour will be tailor-made to match your personal interests, at your own pace and with time to stand and stare.
My tours consist of a mix of cultural visits, relaxing strolls and gourmet breaks in trendy places. In addition to Paris' must-see, I will introduce you to my favorite lesser-known museums or monuments and to some more intimate nooks and crannies.
Your tour will start and end wherever you fancy: your hotel, a café… Just let me know and I'll be there! We will get around by foot or by metro, the best way to discover the city, and also to avoid Paris traffic jams
A Recent Review of this guide
Anne is a superb guide. Sensitive to our needs and a fount of knowledge she passionately shared with us. Anne imparted a sense of what it means to be French. I highly recommend Anne to anyone who wants a sense of history and what it means to be French. I felt as though I was walking the city with an old friend and enjoying the sights together. Again, I highly recommend Anne for your tour guide. She is professional, friendly and sensitive to your needs.
