Hello there! My name is Anne. Born and bred in Burgundy, I moved to Paris to attend university and never left again! I settled "Rive Gauche" (Left Bank of the Seine river) 25 years ago and after a career as a financial analyst for large international companies, I resumed my studies in History of Art at Paris' famous Ecole du Louvre. After graduating in 2014, I decided to become a private tour guide to share with international visitors my passion for Parisian culture, art and history. Just like Paris welcomed me all these years ago, I will welcome you to Paris as I know it: the City of Light but so much more indeed! Whether you're a first-timer or a regular visitor, I will take you off the beaten tracks and unveil the secrets of Paris' major and lesser-known landmarks. Together, we will stroll the streets just like a group of friends and I will be your very own guide as my tours are exclusively private. Each tour will be tailor-made to match your personal interests, at your own pace and with time to stand and stare. Just tell me what your idea of a dream trip is and I will make it happen! I offer half-day and full day tours which consist of cultural visits, relaxing walks and gourmet breaks in trendy places. In addition to the numerous must-sees, I will introduce you to my favorite hidden spots and we will wander Paris' secret nooks and crannies. Your tour will start and end wherever you fancy: your hotel, a café… Just let me know and I will be there! We will get around by foot and public transports as they are ideal for discovering Paris without getting stuck in traffic jams! *** IMPORTANT NOTICE: please make sure you double-check my availability calendar before sending me a request for tours less than 2 months away. If I am down as unavailable, my calendar will already be set which means I will not be able to offer you a tour. Overview of your Paris tour
If you don't have enough time for a full day tour but still fancy a more in-depth experience than a half-day tour, then this 5-hour tour is made for you! Together, we will explore the City of Light through its must-see sights, hidden backstreets and picturesque neighborhoods, with plenty of time for gourmet breaks in my favorite places, notably traditional pastry shops and sidewalk cafés! Two main itineraries are available for this tour but I can also create a tailor-made tour to best suit your personal interests: • The iconic neighborhood of Montmartre and the Sacré-Coeur Basilica; the Ile de la Cité and Notre-Dame cathedral ; the Louvre exteriors and the Tuileries gardens • From the heart of the historic city with Notre-Dame cathedral and the Louvre, to the modern Paris of the "Belle Epoque" with the Champs-Elysées, the Arc de Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower

We literally had 24 hours to spend in Paris and I had concerns about trying to navigate the city on our own. We hired Anne as our guide and we hit the jackpot! She helped us see more in five hours than we could have seen by ourselves in three days. She was knowledgeable about history, art and took us to a lovely local community so we could immerse ourselves in the true culture of Paris. We spent an incredible half day with Anne. Anne is a true destination expert and a delight to be with. Between our Paris subway rides and walking through the beautiful sites and neighborhoods, Anne provided a detailed history of everything. Anne has a great personality and is very easy to be with and answers all questions. In a 5 hour period we were able to get a lot in. It was very hot in Paris and Anne made some changes on the fly in order to compensate for the heat. It was a memorable day and we can't thank Anne enough. We would highly recommend Anne to anyone visiting Paris.

Anne was a wonderful, experienced guide and an all around lovely person. I specifically requested visits to Sainte-Chapelle and Notre Dame (interior). She very thoughtfully obtained entry tickets for both ahead of our meeting (including having to go online at midnight to obtain the Notre Dame tickets). She was extremely well versed regarding both sites and explained in thorough and very interesting detail. Since I was on my own on this tour, she very kindly met me at my hotel and made sure of my safe return by escorting me back on the train. Anyone coming to Paris would be in very capable hands and I highly recommend Anne!
