Hello there! My name is Anne. Born and bred in Burgundy, I moved to Paris to attend university and never left again! I settled "Rive Gauche" (Left Bank of the Seine river) 25 years ago and after a career as a financial analyst for large international companies, I resumed my studies in History of Art at Paris' famous Ecole du Louvre. After graduating in 2014, I decided to become a private tour guide to share with international visitors my passion for Parisian culture, art and history. Just like Paris welcomed me all these years ago, I will welcome you to Paris as I know it: the City of Light but so much more indeed! Whether you're a first-timer or a regular visitor, I will take you off the beaten tracks and unveil the secrets of Paris' major and lesser-known landmarks. Together, we will stroll the streets just like a group of friends and I will be your very own guide as my tours are exclusively private. Each tour will be tailor-made to match your personal interests, at your own pace and with time to stand and stare. Just tell me what your idea of a dream trip is and I will make it happen! I offer half-day and full day tours which consist of cultural visits, relaxing walks and gourmet breaks in trendy places. In addition to the numerous must-sees, I will introduce you to my favorite hidden spots and we will wander Paris' secret nooks and crannies. Your tour will start and end wherever you fancy: your hotel, a café… Just let me know and I will be there! We will get around by foot and public transports as they are ideal for discovering Paris without getting stuck in traffic jams! *** IMPORTANT NOTICE: please make sure you double-check my availability calendar before sending me a request for tours less than 2 months away. If I am down as unavailable, my calendar will already be set which means I will not be able to offer you a tour. Two million people live in Paris! Would you like to experience their daily life and be introduced to their iconic neighborhoods? We will explore Montmartre, in the northern part of the city, with its village atmosphere and its numerous picturesque restaurants and food stores. Closer to the river Seine, on the Right Bank, we will stroll the Marais, which is Paris' best-preserved historic district and hosts plenty of art galleries and trendy fashion stores. Finally, I will share with you the secrets of the the area I am proud to call home: the Left Bank. This will include the Latin Quarter and Saint-Germain-des-Prés, but also Parisians' favorite park: the Luxembourg garden! Throughout the tour, we will enjoy gourmet breaks in local side-walk cafés and taste the best baguettes, chocolates and pastries in town! This tour can be done every day. However, I would not recommend doing it on Monday as many places are closed.
Our day with Anne C. exploring Paris neighborhoods was a highlight of our stay in Paris. The route and what we saw and where we ended were adjusted to our interests and where we were staying and where we needed to end up, given our evening plans. If you want to get a real feel for Paris, recommend you spend a day with Anne, preferably early in your visit.

My guide was very knowledgeable about history and events that particularly shaped French culture. She is passionate about Paris and enthusiastic about departing her knowledge to us and we were able see quite a lot during our tour. She took us via Metro, funicular and bus to our neighborhoods. The itinerary could include the major landmarks, such as: - The Sacré-Coeur Basilica (exterior) and its breathtaking viewpoint. - Place du Tertre - The Moulin de la Galette (exterior) - The Moulin Rouge (exterior) - The very lively market street rue des Abbesses - Place des Vosges - Hotel de Sully - Jewish district with the rue des Rosiers - Church of Saint-Paul-Saint-Louis. Should we visit the church, please ensure that you are dressed appropriately. - The Sorbonne University (exteriors) - Saint-Germain-des-Prés - Church of Saint Sulpice. Should we visit the church, please ensure that you are dressed appropriately - The Luxembourg gardens and so much more, depending on your own interests, but it will also include my favourite lesser-known sights! This tour can be done every day. However, I would not recommend doing it on Monday as many places are closed on that day.
