Visit a porcelain kiln to learn the history and the procedure of porcelain
You'll visit Arita town where porcelain production started for the first time in Japan and visit one of the most famous kilns in Arita. You also enjoy a local lunch served with beatiful porcelain plates and bowls. After learning the production process, you can enjoy shopping at the largest porcelain whole sale market. You can also drop off downtown Fukuoka upon request.
Leaving the hotel at 9:30, we'll head to Arita town by a private van. It's about 1h45m drive. You'll visit Izumiyama porcelain stone mountain, Tonbai wall, Genemon kiln. After learning the porcelain process, you'll have lunch at a local restaurant where lunch is served with Arita porcelain. Then, you can enjoy shopping at the largest porcelain whole sale market. You can drop off downtown area upon request. Arriving around 16:00.
