Private Tours in Beijing China |
|
Welcome to Beijing – an intoxicating mix of ancient and modern China. A local guide is eager to take you on a Beijing tour to introduce you to this vibrant capital and its many friendly residents.
Visit Beijing's Forbidden City to explore the best preserved cluster of ancient buildings in China. Wander the lush grounds and pavilions of the Summer Palace and imagine the imperial court of years gone by escaping the summer heat in its cool green spaces. See the dignified 15th century buildings that make up the Temple of Heaven, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. For more recent history, don't miss Chairman Mao Memorial Hall or Tiananmen Square – a reminder of the sweeping powers of China's Communist Party. And definitely take a trip north of the city to gaze at the Badaling section of the Great Wall, as it winds its way like a lithe dragon along the mountain ranges.
Your guide is ready to help you discover the best this fascinating city has to offer on your personal Beijing tour. |

we joined in on a trip she had arranged on the Great Wall. She knows how to get to the wild, unrestored parts that even the locals seldom see. Our trip that time included a night stay in a bed and breakfast type place where we experienced the real thing to the fullest living with the local people for a fraction of the cost of what other places would charge. Cleanliness and safety were always ensured wherever she took us. Wayne Squair, Kamloops, BC, Canada |
Heidi’s specialty is finding great spots to hike and enjoy nature in the Beijing area, especially on unrestored portions of the Great Wall connecting undeveloped, “tourist-free” wilderness, farmland and villages. Heidi’s level of communication in English is basic. However, this does not pose a problem for the adventurous sort of person that enjoys her tours. Lana MacDonald, September 2009 |
