Hi, I’m a local certified tour guide and museum educator based in Beijing. With a deep knowledge of Chinese history, art and culture spanning 5,000 years, I specialize in bringing museums and historical sites to life with clear, engaging stories. I speak fluent English and previously worked in international companies, so I understand Western culture and travel expectations very well. I’ve also traveled widely across the US, Europe and Southeast Asia, which helps me design experiences that truly match what international visitors love. Born and raised in Beijing, I know every corner of this city like the back of my hand. I love sharing local history, culture, food and hidden gems from a real Beijinger’s perspective. If you enjoy meaningful, private tours that focus on history, culture and authentic local life, I’d be honored to show you the real Beijing. My goal is to create a unique, unforgettable and personalized experience just for you and your family.

If you could only visit the Great Wall once in your lifetime, which section would you choose? As a native Beijinger who has explored almost every section of the Great Wall around Beijing countless times, I can say without hesitation that Jinshanling is the most spectacular section of the entire Great Wall — bar none. I’m sure National Geographic feels the same way — they chose Jinshanling as the location to film their Great Wall documentary. Jinshanling is about a 2-hour 15-minute drive from Beijing. This distance is exactly what makes it the least crowded section, even during peak season. It has the most stunning scenery The longest hiking route The largest number of original watchtowers The only section where you can see both restored and unrestored Great Wall. If you love hiking, photography, and amazing views without huge crowds, Jinshanling is simply the best choice. I truly believe you will take home unforgettable memories from this Great Wall adventure.
