Yangshuo is becoming more and more well known due to it's amazing natural beauty and traditional villages nestled in amongst the karst mountains and this tour is designed for you to be able to fully explore and appreciate exactly why Yangshuo is so highly regarded by all who come here.
You will have the opportunity to explore Yangshuo and the nearby more traditional village of Fuli in which older traditions still live on such as fan painting and the old markets. We will be getting involved in all of these by making our own fans from scratch as well as going for a wonder around the market and drumming up the courage to try a chicken foot or two! Fuli is sat on the banks of the Yulong river and has some beautiful features including the iconic Fuli bridge. There is also the chance for a drift down the river on a traditional bamboo boat and properly sit back, relax and just take it all in.

This covers the fan painting costs as well as the fact that it is 2 people per bamboo raft, if there are more than 2 in your party then we will need another boat.

I am from a small village nearby Yangshuo town, so I grew up in this area. It has all of my childhood memories!

This river boat tour happens in Xingping on a local motorized boat which maximum contains 4 people on each boat, round trip is about 40-50 minutes.

Xingping is an old town, it is famous for the mountains which you might have seen already during your travels - they are on the 20CNY note!

Elephant Hill is situated in the confluence of Li River and Peach River, is the symbol of Guilin, the full moon of the hill looks like elephant' s trunk drinking water on Li River.

Fubo Hill: Fubo Hill is on the west bank of the Li River in city center. Partially submerged in the river it was named for General Fubo of the Tang Dynasty who built Mayuan Temple on the hill. Because of its location and height, Fubo Hill can tame the waves and stop the surging waters which then form whirlpools. it is 213 meters above sea level and 62 meters above ground. There are almost 350 steps to climb to reach top of hill but then you can enjoy the bird's view of Guilin city. The step beside the Sword Testing Stone wind their way up to the Thousand Buddha Cave, in which are more than 200 Buddha statues made in the Tang Dynasty.

Reed Flute Cave is reputed as " the art palace of the nature"where you can see beautiful stalactites, stalagmites, stone pillars, stone flowers with various shape.
