Come along on a 4-hour private tour of Beijing’s most famous spots -Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City (Palace Museum)! I’ll pick you up right at your downtown hotel or a spot we agree on, then we’ll head to Tiananmen by taxi or subway (whichever’s more convenient for you). You’ll walk through the birthplace of modern China -Tiananmen Square and step into the 600 years of Ming and Qing dynasty history- the Forbidden City. With my friendly, expert commentary, you’ll really feel the rich history and amazing beauty of Chinese civilization - no boring facts, just stories and insights that bring these iconic places to life! Note: Tour unavailable on Mondays (Forbidden City closure). Passport details are required for ticket booking. This tour can be fully customized to your preferences.
Your Beijing tour itinerary
- Meeting at 08:00 AM. - 08:30 AM – Tiananmen Square Exploration. - Visit Tiananmen Square, one of the largest city squares in the world, renowned for its majestic and solemn atmosphere. - 10:30 AM – Forbidden City (Palace Museum) Tour. -We’ll enter the Forbidden City through the Meridian Gate (the southern main entrance). - Explore the Three Main Halls (Outer Court). - Discover the Inner Court & Emperor’s Living Quarters. - Stroll Through the Imperial Garden. - 12:00 PM- Exit the North Gate (ending point). - You can either explore Jingshan Hill for a panoramic view of the Forbidden City or head back to your hotel (transportation not included in the tour fee).
