Hello! My name is Clare, Chinese name Qing Qing,and I'm thrilled to introduce myself as an English - speaking tour guide. I graduated from an English - Tourism major, and for over 20 years, I've been based in Beijing, devoting myself to the tourism industry. This long - standing career has been an incredible journey filled with countless memorable experiences. I've had the honor of welcoming tourists from more than 100 countries. Among them were families, some with three generations traveling together, creating heartwarming moments. Business travelers, eager to explore Beijing during their breaks from work, and groups of students coming to China for educational tours also made up a significant part of my clientele. Each group brought their unique stories and expectations, and it was my responsibility and pleasure to meet their needs. During the Beijing Olympics, I had the privilege of working with the Italian delegation, helping them navigate the city and experience the excitement of the Games. When NBA stars visited China, I was fortunate enough to accompany them on their charity activities, which was both inspiring and rewarding. Moreover, I've received mayors and governors from various countries, handling high - level visits with professionalism and grace. Beyond my work in Beijing, I'm an avid traveler myself. I've visited more than twenty countries, including New Zealand, Russia, Ukraine, Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand. These travels have not only broadened my horizons but also deepened my understanding of different cultures, which I can then share with my clients. In my spare time, I have a passion for reading, as it allows me to continuously learn and grow. And like many people today, I also enjoy spending some leisure time scrolling through TikTok, keeping up with the latest trends and having a bit of fun. I truly believe that my rich work experiences, combined with my love for travel and diverse interests, enable me to offer you an exceptional travel experience. Spending 2 days with Claire was a memorable experience for us. Claire is an excellent guide with an extensive knowledge of Chinese history, but more than that we also enjoyed our conversations about local culture, how people live, and going to local places to eat such as beijing style noodles! Highly recommended for anyone visiting Beijing for the first time.

We are a family of four with kids aged 12 & 5. We had the most amazing time with Clare, who was an exceptional host. Her knowledge of Beijing was excellent, and we frequently went off topic which was no problem! Her English is excellent and having her as a guide provided a depth of understanding and gave us an experience I honestly don’t think we’d have had by ourselves. This was the first time we have used a guide, normally we organise things ourselves but we are so glad we did and found Clare. Beijing was such a culture shock to us when we arrived, and Clare helped us navigate this and made it fun at the same time - and our kids loved Clare. I have no hesitation in recommending Clare!
Fabulous tour of the highlights of Beijing organised by Clare. We were picked up at Capital Airport and went straight to the Great Wall, Clare shared the history as we walked a couple of sections before heading to Beijing centre via the Olympic Park and Birds Nest, spectacular. The day after we visited Tiananmen square, the Forbidden City & toured a Hutong. We really appreciated the work that went into booking tickets in advance, registering passports etc. We would highly recommend Clare.
