Hi, I’m Miao — born and raised in Beijing. I grew up in the hutongs and know every corner like an old friend. After working as a journalist for ten years, I became a freelancer and now share my Beijing life with the world as a YouTuber. I’ve traveled widely and love hiking and nature, but no matter where I go, Beijing is always home. I know this city inside out, and if you have special interests or places you’d like to see, I can design a customized route just for you. With me, you’ll eat like a local, wander hidden alleys, and discover a side of Beijing that goes far beyond the guidebooks. Join me, and experience the authentic Beijing through a local’s eyes.

I was born in Beijing and raised in the hutongs, under the shadow of the Forbidden City. When the Palace Museum was still quiet, I explored its halls as a child. When Tiananmen Square had no lines or reservations, I learned to ride my bike and flew my first kite there. At the Temple of Heaven, long before it was famous, I ran between its ancient trees. Today Beijing is modern and international, yet I want to share the Beijing I grew up with — the stories, memories, and old charm that shaped me. For me, Tianjin has always been a place of escape. Just over 100 kilometers away, it feels like a different world. Life moves slower, people are witty and warm, and the city has the character of a port — something Beijing will never have. Tianjin’s food is affordable and delicious, locals love humor. Even hearing the Tianjin accent makes me smile. This is “my Tianjin” — a city through the eyes of a Beijinger, where you can feel a different rhythm of life and see why I always leave refreshed.
