The Great Wall of Juyongguan Pass is located at 50 kilometers northwest of downtown Beijing. The mountains flanking the valley have many graceful peaks. It used to be one of the famous Eight Views of Yanjing. The building for the Wall in the ancient times were mainly rock and clay, earth and stone, even wood and pottery tiles were also used. There are Cliff Wall, Willow Wall, Watch tower, Beacon towers, platform. Its a total length 10, 000 kilometers. It not only a strong defensive project but also played a very important military and economic role. Today, the Great Wall change a famous tourist attraction in the world. The juyongguan Pass is attracted by its well-preserved conditions and magnificent construction to the world people.
