Overview of your Beijing tour
Explore the center of Beijing on this tour visiting three famous landmarks. Start at Tiananmen Square, the largest public square in the world and an important symbol of modern Chinese history. Next, visit the Forbidden City, the former imperial palace where Chinese emperors lived for many centuries. Walk through its grand halls, courtyards, and gardens while your guide tells you interesting stories about China’s history. The tour ends at Jingshan Park, just north of the Forbidden City. Climb to the top of Jingshan Hill for a great view of the Forbidden City and the Beijing skyline. This peaceful park was once a private garden for emperors and is a perfect place to enjoy the city’s historic area. Note: Tickets are released 7 days in advance and can be difficult to secure.
