Hi, I’m Julie — a licensed tour guide based in Beijing. With a deep love for Chinese history and culture, I specialize in creating engaging and personalized private tours for travelers who want more than just the typical highlights. Whether it’s your first time in China or your fifth, I’d love to help you experience the real Beijing in comfort and style. My journey as a guide began when I started showing exchange students around Beijing. That passion soon grew into a full-time career, and I’ve since worked with international travel agencies and guided VIP travelers. I now lead private, in-depth cultural tours for visitors from all over the world—always with a smile and a focus on your comfort and interests. Whether you're marveling at the Great Wall, walking through the Forbidden City, or discovering the quieter corners of the Hutongs and Confucius Temple, I’ll be there to provide historical context, local insight, and friendly guidance every step of the way.

Centered around the Forbidden City, this area was once home to countless influential figures, as well as ordinary commoners and street vendors. Their stories are deeply connected to the imperial court, yet distinctly different. Can you imagine that the most classic court music from 500 years ago is still performed in the eunuch’s private temple? Do you know how many years of study and examinations ancient Chinese scholars had to go through to rise from humble villagers to high-ranking ministers? Join me in this one day tour and immerse yourself in its profound historical heritage and authentic everyday life. As a history enthusiast, I have many moving stories that I’m eager to share with you!
