Hampton Court Palace was a great favourite of King Henry VIII. Windsor Castle, the oldest and largest continuously inhabited castle in the world; Her Majesty the late Queen's favourite weekend home. Please note Windsor Castle is usually closed to the public on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, if these fall on your only available day, alternatives can be discussed. This tour is priced for using the overground train service to get to and from the sites but can be re-quoted for a door-to-door chauffeured car service. This tour has been priced for four people, more can be accommodated upon request.
Dawn is an excellent guide....one of the best we have ever booked. She is knowledgeable and engaging. She organized our time together to maximize our interests and pace. We had easy travel by train and private transportation which was very comfortable. We had a great time with Dawn and highly recommend her as a guide. We would give her more than 5 stars if possible!

Dawn was a fabulous guide. She arrived on time to meet me, patiently explained the tube and train system to me as we traveled together to Windsor Castle. When we arrived she guided me on a thorough and interesting tour and is very knowledgeable. After the tour we had a lovely lunch at The Ivy. She took care of all the planning so all I had to do was show up. Dawn is also a very fun person to spend the day with. I can confidently recommend her as a Blue Badge guide.

You are met at your London accommodation and we travel by overland train to Hampton Court Palace. Here we see King Henry VIII's splendid Tudor Palace including its old kitchens, and the Great Hall before touring the 17th Century Baroque Palace built for King William and Queen Mary. We can take time to stroll through the glorious gardens that border the River Thames. We take a stop for lunch at a local pub where our chauffeured vehicle (Mercedes V class) takes us to Windsor to another royal favourite, Windsor Castle, the oldest and largest continuously inhabited castle in the world. We visit the magnificent State Rooms, where banquets and royal ceremonies have been held for hundreds of years, and St George's Chapel, the burial place of many monarchs from King Henry VIII to HM the late Queen Elizabeth II, and where Prince Harry married Ms. Markle in May 2018. You are returned to your London accommodation by overland train.

We take the overland train to Windsor. After visiting the Castle we are transferred by chauffeured car (Mercedes V class) to Hampton Court Palace. Depending on start time and events at the Castle we may reverse this itinerary. A chauffeured car is also available for the whole tour, prices upon request.
