London has over 2000 years of history. It has survived disease, fire and war. It has Roman walls, Norman towers, Tudor palaces, Renaissance splendour, Georgian elegance, Victorian grandeur, beautiful green spaces and breathtaking modern structures. London cannot be tamed. All you can do is revel in its richness and enjoy the adventure. My name is Paul and I'm lucky enough to live and work in this fabulous city. I have always appreciated the history and culture and there is nothing more I love than sharing it with people from all over the world. I am a licensed London Taxi driver having completed the famous 'Knowledge of London' in 2010. Since then I have become a qualified Taxi tour guide. Not only do my guests get to see and learn about the rich history of the main sites, we will also go off the beaten track and discover some of the lesser known parts of the city. Travelling in an iconic London Taxi is the best and most elegant way of meandering through the ancient streets of London. It allows us to use your time wisely. We can use the bus lanes to avoid traffic jams and park up and explore the sites in more detail. My fully air conditioned Taxi also has USB charging points so don't forget your charging cables. Whether you are interested in The Romans, The Royals or The Beatles, my passion and knowledge will provide you with a fun, informative and engaging tour. Completed the ‘Knowledge of London’ 2010 to become a licensed London Taxi Driver. Became a qualified Taxi tour guide (accredited by the City University) 2016. Member of Historic Royal Palaces. Member of London Historians. I am not a Blue Badge Guide which means that although I can accompany you inside the Tower of London, St. Paul’s Cathedral and Westminster Abbey, I cannot guide inside these historical monuments.

Over 800 years ago King John met angry barons at a meadow in Runnymede and was forced to sign Magna Carta. This document held the King accountable for his own actions. Although most of the clauses dealt with medieval customs, Magna Carter has become a powerful symbol of liberty around the world. The most famous clause which is still in use today gave all freemen the right to justice and a fair trial. The sealing of this document happened on the 15th June 1215. The town of Windsor surrounds the powerful and now prettified Castle. It looks over the narrow ancient cobbled streets of the town which lead down to the winding River Thames. It's a magical place, full of history and heritage. Growing up as a child, visiting Windsor Castle was a special occasion of which I have many fond memories. I feel proud and privileged to be able to share this with people from all over the world now as my profession.
