Hi, I'm Steve and I would love to show you the sights and sites of London! I'm qualified to guide in all areas of Westminster and the City of London. I believe I have developed some exciting, absorbing and fun walking tours that you will really enjoy. I've worked and walked in London on and off for over 30 years and I'm just as passionate about the city now as I was when I started exploring all those years ago. I love meeting new people from all over the world and helping to make their time in London really memorable. My walks cover seeing the famous highlights such as Westminster Abbey, St Paul's Cathedral and Trafalgar Square but also explore areas such as the Theatreland, Covent Garden and Soho. I love showing people some of the more quirky things hidden on the streets and I 'm happy to customise my walks if you have particular interests. I also have a pub walk which features a stroll along the majestic River Thames, some of the best views in London and visits to pubs to sample their wares. My interests are sport, science and food and drink so I love to use these as themes for walks. For example, I have guided groups of school students telling them stories of the many famous scientists who have lived in London and their discoveries. Hopefully this will have given them an enthusiasm for science and an understanding of the subject outside the classroom. I am happy to put together tailored itineraries for half or full day tours in most parts of London - please let me know what you are interested to see or which areas you would like to explore. I love having children in my groups and can usually find plenty of things to interest them. My walks are also suitable for wheelchair users. A great tour to see many of London's most famous sights in one morning. Hear the stories of Westminster Abbey, where 40 monarchs have been crowned, and the history of four royal palaces where many of them have lived and died. Learn how the United Kingdom's parliamentary system works looking at the Houses of Parliament and hear Big Ben ring out on the hour. See the 4 main royal palaces (hear the story of when I was invited to Queen Elizabeth II's 80th birthday party!) Experience the Changing of the Guard ceremony (Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 11am), the Captain's Inspection at 3pm on Tues/Thurs/Sat, the musical parade on Sunday or the smaller ceremony at Horse Guards. I know the best places to go and the timing down to the minute to make sure you get the best experience! Stroll through a magnificent royal park and historic square and stop to take photos at the best spots. Finish by exploring Trafalgar Square, home to two major, free to enter, art galleries and close to many exciting places to eat.

We had a group of 10 and Steve did a great job with our tour. He was detailed and shared all kinds of information about the various things we saw on our tour. Steve set up a convenient meeting location and returned us to a location near where we needed to be after lunch. Really appreciated Steve's attending to detail and willingness to ensure our needs were understood and met. Thank you, Steve.
Great information excellent communicator
Steve met us at our apartment rental on time and ready to show us many of the highlights of London. We only had a couple of days in London. This was a perfect tour to visit a variety of well known London landmarks. King Charles waved as he was being driven to the Palace,
The three day tour was amazing, we saw lots of beautiful places and I enjoyed every second of it. Our family learned a lot of new information about London. Steve even made the trip fun for the kids. Mystery objects everywhere and puzzles. Steve was an awesome guide, and we were happy to have him as a guide.
Steve’s tour of the Queen’s funeral route was outstanding—an unforgettable experience that gave us so much insight into British history. For over four hours, he kept us fully engaged (no mean feat with 7 giddy ladies) with his incredible knowledge, vivid storytelling, and genuine passion for London. Every stop along the route was brought to life through his detailed explanations, thoughtful observations and humour. Steve is a truly exceptional guide—knowledgeable, engaging, and deeply respectful. Highly recommended!
