Meet Kemal: Your Expert Guide to London and Beyond Welcome! I'm Kemal, your dedicated tour guide, professional photographer, and whisky enthusiast. Despite studying law, I pursued my childhood dream of becoming a photographer. With a rich background that includes serving as the Deputy Editor of National Geographic Magazine, Turkish Edition, from 2000 to 2011, I bring a unique blend of expertise and passion to every tour I lead. My journey into photography has taken me across over 100 countries, capturing the diverse cultures and breathtaking landscapes that define our world. My work has been featured in esteemed publications such as National Geographic, Geo, Cosmopolitan, Reader's Digest, Atlas, and many more. My photographs have been exhibited around the world, including a permanent display at the Anthropology Museum of Wichita State University in Kansas. In 2007, by coupling my tour guide license with my photography skills, I embarked on a new adventure by launching my first photo tour. The joy and fulfillment I found in sharing my passion for photography and travel with others changed my life. Since then, I have offered custom photography trips not only in the UK but also worldwide with Terra Photo Adventures, focusing on capturing authentic, unstaged moments. My tours cover diverse regions, including the Middle East, Latin America, Asia, Europe, and Africa. In summers, I'm mostly based in London, serving clients from all around the world as a tour guide in the UK. I'll be happy to create custom tours such as whisky tours, food tours, and tours to little-known areas. I even worked as a birdwatching guide in Turkey. I always welcome the challenge of leading you on different, unusual tours. I was born in Antakya, Hatay, an ancient multicultural town renowned for its rich culinary heritage—recognized by UNESCO. Despite the tragic destruction of my hometown in the 2023 earthquakes, my connection to its vibrant cuisine remains strong. I love sharing my favorite foodie discoveries and cooking a variety of dishes, ranging from Turkish to Middle Eastern to European cuisine. My culinary adventures also include making desserts, ice cream, kombucha, and yogurt. As a whisky aficionado, I have an extensive collection and enjoy sharing my knowledge and passion for whisky with friends and guests. Additionally, my love for adventure extends underwater, where I have had incredible experiences scuba diving with sea lions in the Galapagos and manta rays in the Komodo Sea. Join me in London and beyond for an unforgettable journey where we will explore hidden gems, capture stunning photographs, and share delicious food and drink. Let's create lasting memories together through unique and enriching experiences. Welcome! Step inside a former power station and discover art that provoked, disturbed and transformed the world. This tour explores one of the greatest modern art collections on earth — from Andy Warhol's iconic Pop Art and Mark Rothko's haunting colour fields, to Salvador Dalí's surrealism and Picasso's revolutionary vision. Unlike traditional museums, Tate Modern is organised not by chronology but by themes and ideas — expect surprising conversations between artists across centuries and cultures. We move through the monumental Turbine Hall, the underground Tanks, and rooms alive with sound, installation and raw creative power. As displays are regularly re-hung, every visit brings fresh perspectives and unexpected discoveries. Tours are tailored for, families and children, with storytelling, discussion and interactive elements that make modern art accessible and inspiring for all. ***Also available: National Gallery, National Portrait Gallery · Victoria and Albert,· Natural History Museum · British Museum and more.
