Private Stonehenge tour from London in a luxury sedan
Overview of your London tour
This is one of the most popular day tours from London. Traveling by luxury, air-conditioned, Mercedes sedan we will arrive at Stonehenge shortly after opening time and before the large bus groups from London. Before we arrive at Stonehenge I will tell you the history of this World Heritage site. Why we think it is here, who built it, how they built it and why they built it. On arrival at Stonehenge, I will take you through and talk about the new visitor center. We will then go outside to see the recreation of the houses where the builders of Stonehenge lived before heading down to the stone circle where I will tell you more about what you are seeing and the surrounding landscape.

We had a marvelous day with David! He was very informative during our drive out of London and the return. We learned so much about the city. As we approached Stonehenge he provided significant historical information. At the museum and the nearby recreation of the village he was knowledgeable and helpful. As we walked around the Stonehenge site he also provided insight. He drove a very comfortable car and was an extremely careful driver. A very nice man and a great guide!

This was an excellent tour that didn't take up our whole day. David was the best driver and tour director. He picked us up at 8:30 a.m. at our London hotel and we returned by midafternoon. David is a kind man who had a great sense of humor. He has endless knowledge of Stonehenge and all that we saw along the ride. His car is very luxurious. He got us through Stonehenge before all of the tour buses arrived so our visit there was easy and there were no long lines or hassles. I can't recommend his tour enough. I give him a A+ rating.

Your London tour itinerary
8:00am. I will meet and greet you at your central London hotel or other central London location and we will travel by a luxury Mercedes E Class sedan. As we leave London I will tell you some of the fascinating facts and history of the capital. As we get closer to Stonehenge I will tel you some of the history of the stone circle. 10:00am. We will arrive at Stonehenge. I will walk you through the exhibition centre then take you to the outside exhibits where we will see the recreated houses of the builders of Stonehenge. We then go down to the stone circle where I will tell you many more interesting facts about this World Heritage site. After visiting there will be time, if required, for that all important coffee before we head back to London. 2:00pm. We will arrive back in central London.
