Your London tour itinerary
From your hotel we travel to Stonehenge, where we visit the Stones* themselves and wonder at the enormity of the task of transporting these stones and placing them so precisely. You will have the opportunity to work out the many theories about why the stones are placed where they are and their purpose over time. After Stonehenge we head to Windsor stopping at a village pub for lunch on the way. ** At Windsor Castle we will spend time exploring the longest continually occupied castle in the world. We tour the State Apartments, stroll around the Castle precinct and see the beautiful St George's chapel where HM the late Queen Elizabeth II is buried alongside her husband, mother, father and sister. You will be returned to your hotel at the end of the tour. *NB We are not able to get access into the Stones Inner Circle
