Dawn provided us a perfect individualized day-trip out of London to visit Stonehenge, Oxford, and Windsor before dropping us off at the airport for our evening flight. She was easy to communicate with prior to our tour so we could organize exactly what we were looking for. She was knowledgeable, professional, and affable. Truly a lovely and perfect adventure. We had a wonderful time with Dawn visiting Stonehenge and Windsor! She was very knowledgeable and had a fantastic personality that we felt very comfortable with! We learned a lot about both sites and enjoyed our time. We would definitely tour with Dawn again should we make it back to London.
We had terrific guides while in London, and Dawn was the best! She is very knowledgeable, engaging, organized, works with a terrific driver, and created our favorite day of our trip. With our 17 year old boys and in the rain, we were driven to Stonehenge, where it was glorious and exhilarating. We had lunch at a lovely, perfect pub, and then enjoyed a terrific and informative tour of Windsor Castle. Dawn knows is an enthusiastic, well-educated guide with a winning personality. Go with her!
Dawn did a perfect job accommodating our family of 3 adults and 2 boys ages 9 and 11. We asked to visit Stonehenge and Windsor Castle, and Dawn managed to make it happen in spite of our last minute time reduction due to our mandated pre-flight Covid test. From your hotel we travel to Stonehenge, where we visit the Stones* themselves and wonder at the enormity of the task of transporting these stones and placing them so precisely. You will have the opportunity to work out the many theories about why the stones are placed where they are and their purpose over time. After Stonehenge we head to Windsor stopping at a village pub for lunch on the way. ** At Windsor Castle we will spend time exploring the longest continually occupied castle in the world. We tour the State Apartments, stroll around the Castle precinct and see the beautiful St George's chapel where HM the late Queen Elizabeth II is buried alongside her husband, mother, father and sister. You will be returned to your hotel at the end of the tour. *NB We are not able to get access into the Stones Inner Circle
