Stonehenge & Salisbury Cathedral with a Blue Badge guide in an Executive Vehicle

We had an amazing day at Stonehenge and Salisbury with Alexander and our three teenage kids. Alexander is the reason that we use a service like Tours by Locals. We not only left very well informed about the historic sites, but also enjoyed Alexander sharing with us about life in the UK. His seven passenger van is a difference maker in maintaining comfort through the day as we covered quite a bit of ground. Alexander was also very flexible in adjusting course on the fly to maximize our time with him. Overall just a very professional tour with a very professional guide.

Alex took our family on a day trip to see Stonehenge and Salisbury Cathedral. He picked us up on time at our hotel in Berkshire in a snappy black cab. He was knowledgeable about the sites and has a winning personality. We enjoyed chatting with him in addition to learning about the locations we visited. Also an excellent driver, including in the pouring rain. We wish we had booked him for additional tours during our stay; he recommended Hampton Court, and we hope to return and ask him to take us there.

Wow! We went to Stonehenge with Alex as our guide. What a terrific day! Alex is a great guide and I 100% would recommend him to anyone that asked. Besides being at Stonehenge we made a stop at Salisbury Cathedral to see the Magna Carta and a local pub (I might be mixing up the days) for the best food of our trip. We'd been to London more than a few times so getting out of town to see the surrounding areas was wonderful for us. Alex delivered on a great day. 5 star guide and a 5 star day. Thanks!
