Meet Frank – Your London Insider Hi, I’m Frank — and if you’re visiting Britain, you deserve more than just a tour… you deserve a great day out. I like my tours relaxed, friendly, and fun. You’re on vacation, so let me take care of the planning, the driving, the routes, and the storytelling — all you need to do is enjoy the experience. Whether it’s your first time in London or your fifth visit to England, I make sure every tour feels personal, easygoing, and memorable. Born, raised, and shaped in London to Irish parents, I’ve spent my entire life exploring the streets, stories, and hidden corners of this city. After working in construction as a bricklayer and stonemason, I changed careers to pursue something I truly loved — becoming a London Black Cab Driver by completing The Knowledge of London, one of the toughest professional exams in the world. Later, I qualified as an official taxi guide through the Worshipful Company of Hackney Carriage Drivers, allowing me to guide professionally while driving you in comfort around the capital and beyond. Over the years, I’ve guided visitors from across the United States, and I know exactly what makes a trip special — great sights, fascinating stories, a little humour, and enough flexibility to follow what you find interesting. ⸻ London and Beyond My London tours cover everything from the must-see highlights to hidden gems that most visitors never discover. If history is your thing, we can dive into Royal London, Roman London, Medieval London, or the dramatic stories of Winston Churchill and WWII. Music fans can explore Beatles London, and movie lovers often enjoy spotting famous filming locations along the way. But some of Britain’s most unforgettable places are just outside the city. Many of my guests love day trips to destinations such as: • Windsor Castle – the oldest occupied castle in the world • Stonehenge – the mysterious prehistoric monument older than the pyramids • Bath – elegant Georgian architecture and Roman heritage • Oxford – the famous university city of dreaming spires • Cotswolds – picture-perfect villages and classic English countryside These trips are ideal if you want to see “the real England” beyond the city — beautiful landscapes, charming towns, and incredible history. ⸻ Shore Excursions, Layovers & Private Touring If you’re arriving by cruise ship, flying in for a layover, or staying in London for a limited time, I can collect you directly from the airport, port, or hotel and design a seamless private tour that fits your schedule perfectly. No rushing, no confusion, and no crowded buses — just your own comfortable London taxi and a guide who handles everything. ⸻ A Bit About Me I’m now a proud grandad — and my greatest achievement in life is my four children, my granddaughter, my grandson, and my wonderfully patient wife. Second only to family, I genuinely love meeting people from around the world and helping them experience Britain in a way that feels relaxed, welcoming, and personal. My tours are always informative, but never stuffy. If we’re going to spend the day together, we might as well have a laugh along the way. ⸻ Travel in Comfort I drive the latest London Taxi, seating up to six passengers comfortably (three facing forward, three facing backward), fully air-conditioned and equipped with Wi-Fi — perfect for families, couples, or small groups wanting a private experience.

Take a trip to the historic city of Oxford and the stunningly beautiful Cotswolds. First, we will wander around the University city of Oxford, once quoted as "the city of dreaming spires"' where monumental historic events have shaped the country and inspired literature heroes. We will be spending some time in the college's public areas, here is where many Prime Ministers and the odd US President have received part of their education. The traditions and practices of the colleges can be quite intriguing, the city has, what was once, the largest book shop in the world and the very first public museum in the world. We will then venture across the beautiful Cotswold countryside, stopping at some of the best quintessential villages that England has to offer. The Cotswolds dates back centuries, built on the wool industry, with the expansion of bigger towns into major cities and the lack of rail connection to the Cotswolds, the area is untouched by modern standards, feeling like you've stepped back in time.
-I will pick you up from your destination, whether that be Seaport, Airport or any hotel in the south of England. -From there we will head to Oxford, where we will spend our time walking around the city with short refreshment breaks. -After Oxford we will head into the beautiful Gloucestershire countryside of the Cotswolds, here we will stop at some stunning little villages, where we will have the opportunity to stop for lunch in a traditional English Pub. -I will provide bottled water but you are more than welcome to bring along your own refreshments. -There is plenty of souvenir shops in the City of Oxford and the odd 1 or 2 in the villages that we will visit. -After our full day together I will bring you back so you can carry on with your vacation!! Places we will visit; *The city of Oxford. *Colleges in Oxford (University of Oxford). *At least 3 villages in the Cotswolds. *Plenty to see in one day!!
