Welcome to London – your unforgettable adventure starts here! Hello, I’m David – a born-and-bred Londoner with a passion for history, storytelling, and showing visitors the very best of this extraordinary city and country. After 19 years driving one of London’s iconic black taxis, I became a qualified tour guide in 2013 through the prestigious Worshipful Company of Hackney Carriage Drivers (accredited by City University). Since then, I’ve been guiding guests from around the world through the streets of London and beyond, sharing over 2,000 years of fascinating history, culture, and hidden gems. My tours are conducted in a luxury Audi A8 long wheelbase sedan, offering up to 4 guests a smooth and spacious ride with full air-conditioned comfort – a step up from the usual taxi or tour bus. Whether you're looking to see London’s must-see sights or venture into its lesser-known corners, I’ll tailor your experience to suit your interests. I also offer full-day excursions beyond the capital to iconic destinations like Stonehenge and Bath, Oxford and Blenheim Palace, the Cotswolds, and many more. I pride myself on delivering friendly, informative, and flexible tours that feel more like a day out with a knowledgeable local than a standard sightseeing trip. Take a look through my tour listings – there’s something for everyone. And if you don’t see exactly what you’re looking for, just get in touch. I’ll be happy to design a custom tour just for you. Qualifications & Credentials: Qualified London guide (2013) – Worshipful Company of Hackney Carriage Drivers, accredited by City University Registered guide with ETOA (European Tourism Association) Former licensed London taxi driver (Knowledge of London, 1999) Fully licensed and insured private hire and tour driver Registered private hire operator with Transport for London (TFL) Qualified private pilot and drone pilot Let’s make your visit to London truly memorable! Make the most of your journey from London to Southampton with a guided tour of Stonehenge & Salisbury Cathedral on route. On route to Stonehenge I will tell you the history of this World Heritage site. Why we think it is here, who built it, how they built it and why they built it. On arrival at Stonehenge I will take you through and talk about the new visitor centre. We will then go outside to see the recreation of the houses where the builders of Stonehenge lived before heading down to the stone circle where I will tell you more about what you are seeing. Then we will drive to nearby Salisbury. This is a great place to stop for lunch before we visit Salisbury Cathedral. This amazing cathedral was built in just 38 and years stands 404 feet high. Salisbury Cathedral is home to the best surviving copy of the Magna Carta, the worlds oldest working clock and the wonderful 'Living Font'. From Salisbury we will head to Southampton Docks.
Leave London at a time that suits you to arrive in Southampton. Travel 2 hours to Stonehenge for a guided tour around 2 hours. Travel 30 minutes to Salisbury. A stop for lunch before a 2 hour guided tour of Salisbury Cathedral and the Magna Carta. Then we travel to Southampton in time to board your cruise.
Tell your guide which places matter to you, skip what doesn't, and tailor the experience for your group's needs. Not finding what you want? Message your guide to build something unique.
