I have lived in London since 1997. Passionate about travel, history, walking and exploring I qualified as a City of London Guide in 2022 and a London Blue Badge Guide in 2024. I am also a Freeman of the City of London that gives me the right to herd sheep across the river Thames ! I would love to show you around and my London Blue Badge Guide professional qualification means I have privileged guiding access to all the buildings that matter including the Tower of London, Westminster Abbey, Churchill War Rooms, Kensington Palace, St Paul’s Cathedral and the British Museum. For those who have been to London before there is always more to discover in our great capital city. I also offer railway, regeneration, shopping, food and LGBT Pride Tours. All of my London tours are private and designed around the interests of you and your group, whether it is 1 or 2 or up to 10. I cater for visitors and locals alike. Westminster Abbey is where Kings and Queens have worshipped since 1065. Home to 39 coronations, 30 royal burials and 11 royal weddings. Marvel at the stunning interior, ancient Coronation Chair, Tomb of the Unknown Warrior and Shrine to St Edward the Confessor. Appreciate intellect and culture at Poet and Scientist's Corners. Churchill War Rooms, are in a Whitehall basement that was the British government's command center during World War II. Discover the secret rooms and corridors where Winston Churchill and his cabinet made crucial decisions that changed the course of history.
Warren was personable, incredibly knowledgeable and delivered the information with a balanced blend of enthusiasm and humor. His love of, and enthusiasm for, the history of both Westminster Abbey and the Churchill War Room was infectious. He was also very understanding of our changing schedule and patiently answered all my texts as to our arrival. Luckily we made it in time and we’re happy we did. A truly marvelous tour and experience.
Warren was the absolute best!!! Very knowledgable about Westminster Abbey and the Churchill War rooms. More importantly, after the tour we felt like Warren had been a good friend for years!! Would HIGHLY reccomend!!
We had a great tour with Warren. We hadn't had time for lunch and he was kind enough to meet us at sandwich shop for a quick lunch and that gave us a chance for a short rest and a chat. The Abbey is jaw dropping and how Warren keeps all the history straight is beyond us! It was a lovely day as we walked to the Churchill War Rooms thru Parliament Square. It's hard to imagine what it was like during that time. Warren is very personable, knowledgeable and tall! We very much enjoyed our afternoon!
