I'm Graham, your driver-guide, walking-guide and attractions guide: bringing London to life with commentary and chat on my private London tours. Lots of stops on driving tours and all tours have short walks to get close to the attractions and sights. • Walking tours: always get close to, or inside, the sights and attractions or through the streets of London. • All tours: I'll explain as we explore and I welcome questions from curious clients. Transportation on driving tours: Door-2-Door Service (pick up and drop off anywhere in central London). Meeting locations for walking or attractions tours: always easy to find and some have a pick-up from your hotel (depending on where you're staying). I have been a tour guide since the dawn of the 21st century! and have four guiding qualifications: • City of London • City of Westminster • London Taxi Guide • St Paul's Cathedral. I have a History BA too, so deep background knowledge. And I'm a real licensed London taxi driver, having completed the world famous 'Knowledge of London' in 2000. I'm also a published London historian. My book is 'Guildhall. City of London'. It's a history of one of London's oldest buildings (600+ years). Guildhall is public, free and worth a visit, possibly during one of my London Highlights tours. • My Mercedes Vito London taxi is clean, has air-con and carries up to six passengers. As a born-and-bred London guide, I enjoy sharing lively commentary and chat about our tour stops, landmarks, and the stories that bring the city to life. I'll be explaining as we explore London's big sights and back streets: royal palaces and tittle-tattle, political power and prime ministers, churches and cathedrals and London's celebrated personalities; everything from the trivial to the technical. The focus of our panoramic tour is London's highlights, with the city’s rich histories, varied cultures, and magnificent architecture woven throughout. During our busy but unrushed day tour we'll experience the best of London. We can also customize, perhaps some Beatles, Potter or Romans. You can help shape the day - or simply leave everything to me. This is not a drive-by tour, walking is involved. There are plenty of stops and opportunities for photos and refreshments. With both a black-cab driver and a walking guide conducting your London taxi tour, the day is super-efficient, enjoyable, and memorable.

We had the most amazing day with Graham! The most knowledgeable and energetic tour guide I've ever met. We managed to see so much in one day, it would never have been possible without his expertise. He tailored the tour to our interests and made excellent suggestions which allowed us time to fit more into our day. I cannot emphasize enough how helpful and informative he was. I would recommend him without hesitation.

We'll be viewing: •Buckingham Palace •Parliament & Big Ben •Westminster Abbey •St James's Palace •Trafalgar Square •St Paul's Cathedral •Tower of London •Shakespeare's Globe •Changing of the Guard Ceremony (Sun, Mon, Wed, Fri) We may visit a fantastic street-food market for lunch (45-mins approx). We park near to landmarks. We'll then walk closer for close-up views. I'll talk as we walk and when we're up close. There are endless opportunities for photos. Some walks are short and some slightly longer. Time spent viewing a landmark varies from one or two minutes to a few minutes. Everywhere we go is in the open, or free entry if inside. London is BIG so we'll select the best of London for you to enjoy. We're always close to coffee shops and places for bathroom breaks. This tour as a whole or partially can be customized to fit your preferences - please inquire.
