Hi, I'm Peter - Let me show you one of the best and most diverse cities in the world! I grew up in London's multi-cultural east end and spent most of my youth as an amateur boxer which meant I was lucky enough to travel and compete abroad regularly. During this time, I lived in the USA receiving a warm welcome and great hospitality wherever I went. This is something I really value, and something I enjoy giving whilst sharing my love of London. In 1994, I completed the 'Knowledge' of London and became a London Taxi Driver, and later a London Taxi Tour Guide. I offer tours both in and out of the taxi with so much of London to be appreciated on foot! I am passionate about London's History, Culture and Architecture. My Traditional Tours offer something for everyone with interesting and fun facts supporting the classic sights of London. I once gave a tour to a family with four generations ages 9, 13, 17, 50 and 90! I enjoy popular culture In London from the 1960s and 1970s. I have an association with Liverpool, another great cultural city and birthplace to 'The Beatles'. I am the only London Beatles Tour guide vetted by Liverpool's famous Cavern Club. The Victorian era in London particularly interests me as you will notice from my Sherlock Holmes and Watson Tour! The Traditional, Beatles and Sherlock Holmes Tours are ready to book please check them out - there is plenty of choice! I also offer a Bespoke Tour service to cater for your particular interests and allow for combinations of tours. For example, we can combine themes from the published tours and there is an endless list of other themes to choose from. Listed below are ideas: •Maritime and Voyages of Discovery •Architecture and Engineering •Religion •Heritage •LGBTQ+ •Art and Performing Art •Pubs and Clubs •Tea, Coffee and Sugar History •The open air and green spaces to be enjoyed in London's parks, hidden nature reserves and city farms If you'd like to build a bespoke tour please provide me with details including a list of the themes that interest you, how long you'd like the tour, and where you would like the tour to start (e. g. hotel or train station). Thank you for reading and I hope to hear from you soon! - London Taxi Driver - London Taxi Tour Guide - Advanced Boxing Coach - Level 1 Athletics Coach I am not a Blue Badge Guide. If your tour includes visits to historical monuments such as Tower of London, St. Paul's Cathedral, Westminster Abbey, I can accompany you but cannot guide you inside them.

This tour immerses you in The Beatles' journey to stardom in London, showcasing both iconic Beatles sites and traditional London landmarks. Whether you're a Beatles fan or a lover of '60s and '70s culture, this is the perfect experience! After rising to fame at Liverpool’s Cavern Club, The Beatles made London their home after meeting Brian Epstein. You'll visit Mayfair, where their London story began, including their first apartment and the site of their final live performance. Explore Marylebone, filled with Beatles history—pubs, restaurants, apartments, and studios. We’ll also stop in trendy Soho, a hub of entertainment past and present. Finally, no tour is complete without a visit to St. John’s Wood, where you’ll snap a photo at the iconic Abbey Road crossing and see the legendary Abbey Road Studios. All this and a few HIDDEN GEMS along the way!
We will meet at your hotel, or any other arranged location in London. During the tour we will visit: • Abbey Road Crossing and Studios in St. John's Wood • Boston Place for a famous film location • Sight of an important house in Montagu Square • Green Street apartment • Berkeley Square nightclub • Savile Row • Piccadilly Circus • Prince of Wales Theatre • Sight of a famous nightclub in Ham Yard • Old Compton Street hangouts • Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club • Studios in Dean Street • Trident Studios in St. Anne’s Court • Wardour Street hangouts • Former club ‘Bag of Nails’ in Kingly Court There will be regular opportunities to stop, walk around, discuss and photograph. A detailed commentary will be provided. The tour can be customised to include more or less sights to suit your preference, and can include some interesting refreshment stops. I can recommend great places for this. We will end the tour at the final stop or return to your hotel or another agreed upon location.
