I'm Graham, your driver-guide, walking-guide and attractions guide: bringing London to life with commentary and chat on my private London tours. I've put together a nice selection of tours to help us explore the best of London: • London Highlights. • London Big Day Out. • Royal London. • Beatles + Rock'n Roll. • London Horror. • Hampton Court Palace. • British Museum. • National Gallery. • Greenwich. • English Countryside. • Jewish History in London. • Black History in London. • Driving tours: in the ideal vehicle for sightseeing - a licensed London taxi. Lots of stops on driving tours and all tours have short walks to get close to the attractions and sights. • Walking tours: always get close to, or inside, the sights and attractions or through the streets of London. • All tours: I'll explain as we explore and I welcome questions from curious clients. Transportation on driving tours: Door-2-Door Service (pick up and drop off anywhere in central London). Meeting locations for walking or attractions tours: always easy to find and some have a pick-up from your hotel (depending on where you're staying). I have been a tour guide since the dawn of the 21st century! and have four guiding qualifications: • City of London • City of Westminster • London Taxi Guide • St Paul's Cathedral. I have a History BA too, so deep background knowledge. And I'm a real licensed London taxi driver, having completed the world famous 'Knowledge of London' in 2000. I'm also a published London historian. My book is 'Guildhall. City of London'. It's a history of one of London's oldest buildings (600+ years). Guildhall is public, free and worth a visit, possibly during one of my London Highlights tours. • My Mercedes Vito London taxi is clean, has air-con and carries up to six passengers. London taxis are fully wheelchair accessible and disability travel-friendly (ramp, hand bars). ---------------------------------------------------- City of London Guide, City of Westminster Guide, London Taxi Tour Guide, St Paul's Cathedral Guide, London Taxi Driver (black cab), History BA. Hons, Published London historian, Associate Member of the Institute of Tourist Guiding . . . and proud Londoner. Only two attractions where I don't have guiding accreditation: Westminster Abbey, Tower of London.

When looking for Jewish history anywhere in London much of the old Jewish fabric is lost; many buildings were bombed, redeveloped, slum-cleared or repurposed. The heart of Westminster is not like this. When searching for Jewish history much survives. Or at least fragments of Jewish history survive within buildings, through statues or on memorials. You just have to look for it. For 1000 years Westminster has been Britain’s royal and political power base. Anglo-Jewish history is connected to those dual authorities. The Jews acceptance, status and place in British society has been defined and directed from this one small area. This tour is not a misty-eyed wander through the old East End ghetto. What's really fascinating is the political history of the Jews in England, which divides into two parts. The Jews of medieval England were expelled in 1290. Modern Anglo-Jewish history starts with readmission in 1656. It’s a dramatic story; and where does this 1000 year story take place? On our tour route of course.
• Westminster Abbey • Houses of Parliament • The Cenotaph • Banqueting House • King Richard I statue • Oliver Cromwell statue • Benjamin Disraeli statue • Suffragettes…and more.
