Historic City of London Tour with Afternoon Tea

The City of London is the oldest and most historic part of London, founded by the Romans nearly 2000 years ago. London's only Roman Amphitheatre can be visited depending on the day and time. We will cover two thousand years of history of the City; walk through Roman London and how it survived through the plagues and survived through the Great Fire of London and the Blitz. Many significant people contributed to the development of the City and find out how it became the world's leading financial center in the world. The City is my favorite place, with fascinating and quirky traditions and ceremonies as well as entertaining stories from the past and present. This is where ancient and modern survive side by side. You can see medieval churches right next to steel and glass skyscrapers. This tour is for 4 people, however, more can be accommodated on request. Visit Christopher Wren's masterpiece, St Paul's Cathedral. A brief visit to the Historic Guildhall, the administrative center of the City of London. We will visit London's only Roman Amphitheatre. • Admire beautiful architecture at Bank Junction, the heart of the City of London • Enjoy an Afternoon Tea at Fortnum & Masons in the Royal Exchange. • Afterwards we will take a scenic route along the Thames with beautiful views of Tower Bridge and the Shard, ending the tour near the Tower of London.
