My tours are conducted in a luxury Audi A8 long wheelbase sedan, offering up to 4 guests a smooth and spacious ride with full air-conditioned comfort. I also offer taxi tours in my modern electric iconic London taxi seating up to 6 passengers. My taxi is fully air conditioned and has a full length panoramic roof so you don't miss a thing. Overview of your London tour

Started in 1515, by Cardinal Wolsey, Hampton Court Palace is a wonderful example of both Tudor and Baroque styles of architecture. After Wolsey's fall from grace, the palace was handed to Henry Vlll who carried out some lavish improvements that can still be seen today. It is home to the finest Tudor great hall in the country and the Tudor kitchens are well worth seeing. We will tour through the Tudor part of the Palace and the Royal Chapel visiting the 3 courtyards, where we will see the great astronomical clock that Henry VIII had installed in 1540, and the rest of the Tudor palace. We will then visit the newer section of the palace built for William and Mary by one of Britain's greatest architects, Sir Christopher Wren. Here we see the state apartments of William III along with the private rooms used by him. The gardens at Hampton Court should not be missed. As well as the vast formal gardens there is the Hampton Court Maze was planted sometime between 1689 and 1695 for William III.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our recent half day trip to Hampton Court Palace with David. He timely picked us up at our London Airbnb in Mayfair and in about 50 minutes we were at the palace. (Glad we went on a Sunday morning when traffic was minimal getting there, not so much on the return though.) David gave us a terrific tour of the beautiful and historic palace and its fab gardens. We learned a lot! He is an excellent driver and is very knowledgeable, personable and kind. We were very glad to have booked this tour.

Your London tour itinerary

I will meet and greet you at your central London hotel and explain what the tour will involve. After a 45-minute journey, we will arrive at one of Henry VIII's favorite palaces, Hampton Court Palace where I will give you a guided tour of the Tudor apartments, the great Tudor hall and kitchens, the Royal Chapel, and the state apartments of William III. On our return to London, I can either take you to your hotel or any other central London location.
