We begin in Westminster, home to Britain's monarchy and government. See Buckingham Palace, St James's Park, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, Parliament Square, Whitehall, Horse Guards, and Trafalgar Square while discovering the stories behind these iconic landmarks. Depending on the day and timing, we may catch part of a ceremonial guard change! We'll then travel by Underground to St Paul's Cathedral, Sir Christopher Wren's masterpiece and one of London's most recognizable buildings. From St Paul's we'll cross the Millennium Bridge for spectacular views of the Thames before exploring Bankside, once London's entertainment district. We'll pass Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, the Tate Modern, and historic riverside streets while learning about London's merchants, actors, and adventurers. The tour typically ends at Borough Market (or a historic pub on Mondays), one of London's oldest and most famous food markets.
