Greenwich Half Day Tour

My name is Rachel and I am born and bred in London. My family have been in London for around 300 years. I have a passion for London and the UK, its many stories and social history. I also love music and love to share some of the iconic venues and stories of bands gone by. I have been a teacher of both children and adults and have been a market trader travelling Asia before doing the Knowledge of London to become a Black Taxi driver. I took 3 and a half years learning all the streets of London and have been a qualified driver since 2010. Our Carriage in London is My New Electric Black Taxi which seats up to 6 passengers. It has a glass roof, free Wifi and Usb ports for charging your phones or devices. I have always had an interest in Social history and went on to do my London Taxi tour guide badge. I have continued my studies to include art and culture in 18th and 19th Century London. This enables me to include art galleries and museums in my tours with some knowledge. I have also been Trained and have a love for out of Town and Enjoy creating tours that take in the English Countryside. I am a member of the National Trust and English Heritage. I Have a real Passion for what I do and work hard to ensure my tours are personal to each of my clients. I celebrate the diversity of my city and hope you will get a sense of the amazing people that have been here before us to make this city what it is today. I believe there is no better way to see London than with a London Cabbie. And with our knowledge of all the streets, we are able to navigate the city like no other drivers.
