Our second tour with Danny covered historical and important sites all around London and included visits to a wine/spirits merchant and to a millinery to see hats made for well known people such as Sir Winston Churchill and Horatio Nelson, both of these we would not have found ourselves. We also had a photo taken at the famous zebra crossing on Abbey Road and visited the wonderful shop. During both tours Danny understood our requirements and willingly accommodated any changes we asked of him. He also took steps to help those in our party who had limited mobility. For example Danny would drop us off as close as possible to a location so that we didn’t have to walk far and then go and bring the Cab back to us later. Danny is a courteous and very professional tour guide. His ‘Black Cab’ was clean and comfortable and he drove it in a safe manner.

Hello, my name is Daniel. I am a London Taxi Tour guide. Myself & my family were born & brought up in London, I have always had a fascination of the city I live in, so in 2013 I decided to study the knowledge of London to become a London Taxi driver. After intensely learning the many roads and hidden streets and after 4 years of studying, I became a London Taxi driver. I soon realised whilst driving passengers in my cab, that customers would ask many questions about statues, landmarks and historical buildings. Which at the time I never knew the answer, only the street name I was driving on and where I was driving too. So, 3 years ago, I took it upon myself to start reading up on the history of London. The more and more books I read on the different points of history, people and places, my love for London grew even more stronger. In 2020, I discovered the Worshipful Company of Hackney Carriage Drivers Official London tour guide course and decided to complete this as soon as possible. I am happy to say I obtained this badge during one of the most difficult years, in the global pandemic. We had booked a 6 hour tour of London with Daniel, and he gave us an excellent tour. He was friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable and provided us a great deal of fun information. ( Luckily there was no test at the end) He also took numerous photos of us and forwarded them to me shortly after the end of the tour. Danny was an amazing tour guide. Always on time and great communication even before the day of the tour. He is very knowledgeable of the history, and adding some interesting facts and stories to go with it. Danny is super nice and friendly and adjust to our needs and request without hesitation The taxi was very convenient and comfortable, we got down in a lots of places for pictures sometimes with him and if he couldn't park he would pick us up in 5 or 10 min .
