Hi, I'm Ray! My tours offer a fun and relaxed style of bespoke and unique content. I am flexible to accommodate any of your interests and cultural insights. The best way to describe my tours is that I will "hold your hand" for the day, have unlimited photo opportunities and show you those unique and interesting places that only a London Taxi Driver will know. We will drive, walk, laugh and learn. My highest achievement is being a proud father of 4, following that I have been a licensed London Black Taxi Driver since completing the London knowledge in 1987. I studied the knowledge whilst working as a Printer in Fleet Street (home of London's newspaper industry) during the '80s. More recently in 2016, I qualified as a Taxi Guide with the Worshipful Company of Hackney Carriage Drivers, studying at the City of London Museum. I was made in London, and have remained a resident Londoner. I love to share my knowledge and passion for this beautiful city that I call home. I have so much to share with you - stories and sites from Roman remain to the current day. I have travelled extensively across the world touring South East Asia, China, Australia, South Pacific, East to West coast across North America, and Europe. As an extensive traveller myself, I feel that I can provide what tourists would be looking for in their experience visiting London. Licensed London Taxi Driver since 1987, license originally issued my the Metropolitan Police of London. Qualified Taxi Guide, issued by the Worshipful Company of Hackney Carriage Drivers.

Overview of your London tour
Visit and explore the history of London's most famous landmarks in an icon London Black Taxi. This tour is a door to door service within central London and can accommodate up to 6 people. Typically a 6 hour tour will visit 6 points of interest. For example: Westminster Abbey, Houses of Parliament and Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, St Pauls Cathedral, The Tower of London. All of the above 6 are highlights, well known around the world. Every Tourist will be familiar with them, and would have the opportunity to see them, take the photos, explore the sights and learn their history. Please note this tour does not generally enter these sights, as regulations do not permit me to Guide within these buildings. Every tour is unique, and customised to each individual customer. The route of the tour will depend on pick up and drop off locations, customer interests and traffic conditions. Being a Taxi I can opt for different routes depending on circumstances of the day.

We had an amazing tour with Ray! He was very accommodating to our young children. He kept it fun for them and kept them involved in the tour. He was extremely knowledgable and answered all of our questions. We saw all of the sights planned, and even had a front row seat to see the king and queen leaving for their mornings. I would 100% recommend Ray and would do another tour from him when/if we visit London again!

Ray was AWESOME! We were lucky enough to have him for two days/tours. On this tour, he took us places that were full of history, which is what I had asked to focus on. He truly amazed us with his in depth knowledge of history, we really learned so much from him, more than we ever could've imagined. He was also super nice and accommodating and did his very best to take us to all of the places we wanted to see and made sure we were always happy and having a wonderful time.
