Churchill was one of our greatest prime ministers and guided us through some of the darkest hours of British history. the world would not be the same were it for this one man. He fought in the trenches in World War 1, commanded the navy and was instrumental in creating the Royal Air force and developing the tank to name a few. To edit a line of his I would say that never in the field of human conflict has so much been owed by so many to this man. My father met Winston Churchill as a young boy and attended his funeral. He kept the 43 Books Churchill wrote in the study in our house and although I only read half of them. It is where I picked up a fascination with his life. This tour will weave through his history in Westminster and his journey from Soldier to master Statesman. We will visit locations frequented by Churchill from where he worked to where he lived before finishing our tour at the War Rooms where you have the option to enter to visit the famous wartime bunker under Whitehall.

We will meet at Westminster , the seat of Parliament where we begin our tour. We will walk around Westminster visiting his past residences, offices and locations that shaped his life, from where he bought his cigars and hats to his wedding venue and the locations that were made famous by this great Statesman. The tour visits all the main sights in Westminster. The stops listed below are within a small radius of the city and easily navigable within walking distance. Most stops will be the exterior of the buildings although we will be able to enter some of the shops he loved and some other locations depending on the time and day of the tour. The Houses of Parliament where Churchill worked St Margarets Church where he was married Horseguards Parade and the Admiralty St. James' and his favourite cigar shops and liquor suppliers.
